Overview

Our purpose at Sol Duc Leadership is simply to help develop the servant leaders, who will create, build, and grow, the innovative social ventures and nonprofit organizations, that are needed to help create a better world!

While we are excited about developing servant leaders, at the end of the day, our success is measured by the impact those leaders make, and by how many new and enduring great social ventures and nonprofit organizations they help create.

Current Social Ventures

We work primarily with early-stage founders of social venture startups and nonprofit organizations who are committed to building purpose-driven organizations that help create a better world. We are currently serving five startup social ventures.

The Power Moms Tribe AFRICA

Overview

Our first Sol Duc Leadership project is The Power Moms Tribe Africa. It was our test project and served as our Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for the Sol Duc business model. The organization is led by Emma Akua Mantey, and was successfully launched on Monday, May 2, 2022, in Accra, Ghana. It serves mothers with children in West Africa, The Power Mom’s Tribe completed its first Entrepreneurial Academy Cohort for mothers with children in November 2022, with 38 graduates. Based on our early success, we are currently scaling it in Accra, Ghana, and we are planning to plant additional Tribes in Kenya and Nigeria during 2024.
